The name “TRIKERS” in english, was used in place of its brazillian couterpart “triciclistas” due to it´s easy of use. It showed up in a circle of friends – today, the founders – and is here to represent the spirit of riding in three wheels.
“TRIKERS” isn´t exactly a club or group, it is in fact an association of trikers with the common objective to expand the trike´s concept as a transport and leisure. We promote rides to many destinations troughout the country taking the trikes to the general public, benefit runs, a catalog of trike builders in Brazil and we seek a proper Law setting for the trikes (in Brazil trikes are subject to laws for both motorcycles and cars), among many other interests for the trike rider.

The tipical brazillian trike is a little different from the usual american trike, it´s a fully customized vehicle, using the engine and other parts of an automobile mixed with custom made parts ressembling a motorcycle. Oh, and it has three wheels. It doesn´t use frames, forks and other parts of bikes due to it´s weight. See Bellow, you gonna like it.

This site contains many points of interest to trikers in general: trike builders, advice to curious people, funnies and many others. Right now, these topics are present only in Brazillian portuguese, but we plan to expand our international site in the near future.
In the main Page there is always an event where our members will be present. If you have the chance to be in Brazil someday, drop us a message so we can figure out a way to meet with you. Trikers members are more common in the São Paulo, Ribeirão Preto and Campinas cities of Brazil.
